EA processor board is based on VIRTEX 5 FX series FPGA which contains 2 PowerPC blocks PPC1 AND PPC2.PPC1 is interfaced with all the peripherals (FLASH, ETHERNET, SRAM, DDR2 SDRAM, RS422 and RS232) and PPC2 is the core processor. The Micro Blaze, as a soft-core processor, is implemented entirely in the general-purpose memory and logic fabric of Xilinx FPGA and is used to interface all the memory and communication interfaces.
