The VPX ESMP board is based on the PowerPC MPC8640D processor, Virtex-5 and Virtex-7 FPGA’s with 6U form factor. It has high speed interfaces like PCIe, Rocket IO and Ethernet on board and also to the backplane. It has multiple memories including DDR2, QDRII and SATA NAND Drive to run the applications and to store the critical data.
