The Quad Channel Signal Processor Board is built around Texas Instrument’s Ultra Highspeed, LowPower, High Performance 10 bit ADC, Liner Technology’s 16-Bit Low PowerADC, DDC MIL-1553Controller and Xilinx 7 series FPGA's.The Quad Channel Signal Processor Board hardware accepts 4 IFinputs in thefrequency range of 1GHz ±250MHz (IBW: 500MHz). The inputs are amplified and filteredto eliminate any spurious signals with a chain gain of 12dB ±1dB to meet the input powerlevelrequirements of ADC. These signals are fed to ADC which operate at 1350MHz ofsampling rate. Fourexternal Video Inputs will get buffered and fed to ADC with125MHz sampling rate. Theseboth sampled data will be fed to the Virtex-7 FPGA’s.FPGA's receive the sampled data in real time forfurther processing. The processed datais given out to a third FPGA and the results of the processingare fed as an outputthrough a 51 pin Micro-D Connector and MIL-1553B interface.
