The TDOA Processor PCB consists of one Virtex-6 FPGA which will do all the logical andarithmeticoperations of the system. The TDOA ProcessorPCB consists of DAC’s,FPGA,Memory Chips,input/outputLevel Translators, Dual comparators,clock distribution, Ethernet along with othersupporting IC’s. Further it containsVPX interface for data transfer & monitoring. Virtex-6 FPGAis usedfor processing, controlling and configuration ofdata.Controlling DAC’s 1&3from FPGA’s forgeneratingthreshold/BITE voltages ranging 0-4V.Clock generation of(500MHz) is generated withreference clock 20 MHz byusing Clock Synthesizer.Reference clock 100MHz for FPGAand 40MHz,20MHz for clock distribution and clock synthesizer respectively.Board shall operate on +5V inputpowersupply & on board power supply voltages are generated byusing DC-DC converters. RocketI/O’s communication shallbe established from Virtex-6 FPGA on backplane. Ethernetinterface is provided through VPX Backplane.
